“For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering. For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers…”
I am no theologian, but I love to study the Bible. I love to see Jesus on every page, and I love trying to understand and grow from reading God’s majestic redemptive story. This blog is my place to explore and process His Word in my life.
Currently, I work part-time as a pastoral assistant at Resurrection Church in Tacoma, Washington. I spent 17 years in the technical writing and editing world, which included stints at three of the biggest companies in the Seattle area. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 21 years, and I have two teenage daughters. I love coffee, soccer, the gritty blue-collar town I call home, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
